I'M SUPER BUSY. DO WE REALLY NEED TO HAVE A CONSULTATION?
More often than not, yes. Since I offer services rather than products I do not have fixed pricing with generic “Silver, Gold, or Platinum” packages. It is important for my team and I to understand and uncover exactly what it is you need and desire. It is equally important for us to meet to see if our personalities will work well together because the planning process of any event is quite extensive. Ultimately, I want you to be comfortable with me as your entertainer!
WILL YOU BE THE ENTERTAINMENT DIRECTOR (DJ/MC) AT MY WEDDING/EVENT OR WILL IT BE SOMEONE ELSE?
I (Patrick Wyllie) will be the entertainer (DJ/MC) you will meet with, plan with, and the one who will entertain at your wedding or event. It will clearly state this on our contract as well. In many cases, however, I will have an assistant working with me on the day of your wedding or event.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK WITH YOU?
Typically, my wedding clients are booking with me ten months to a year and a half prior to their big day. Private event clients generally book anywhere from six months to one year prior. However, that does not mean that your date is not available. I certainly book clients much earlier than that and can accommodate any time frame subject to availability.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT POLICIES?
For weddings I require a twenty percent retainer upon signing the agreement. The remaining eighty percent will be split between our two mandatory planning sessions. For non-wedding events I require a twenty percent retainer upon singing the agreement. The remaining eighty percent is due one week prior to your event. I accept cash, check, or credit card (at no additional fee).
DO YOU HAVE BACK-UP EQUIPMENT?
Although I have never been in a situation where back-up equipment is necessary (knock on wood) I do have backup equipment available on-site at every event.
ARE YOU A FULL TIME OPERATION?
Yes! I (Patrick Wyllie) am a full-time entertainer and I absolutely love it! Which means you get full-time attention in the planning of your celebration.
